Holy Revelation by Never-Resting Bodhisattva
A devoted Tao lecturer should first propagate Tao diligently to gain the in-depth understanding needed to develop practical insight.
A venerable Tao cultivator should first study Tao with a humble heart to gain the personal development needed to form a strong spiritual foundation.
A responsible Tao leader should first develop ample talent and virtue to gain the firm standing needed to manifest greater aspirations.
To be an exemplar for other Tao cultivators, one should first strive to perfect oneself spiritually for it is needed to stay rooted in the essence of Tao in order to guide sentient beings.
Uphold the spirit of the ancient sages and use it as the Spiritual Guidelines for your own self-cultivation. Strive to improve yourself day by day and keep constant in self-introspection.
Observe your mind, do you cultivate selflessly? Observe your conduct, do you benefit other sentient beings without attachments?
Observe your thoughts, do you possess the right understanding and perspectives? Observe your behavior, does your character deviate from that of the ancient sages?
Do not stray from the Spiritual Guidelines: be mindful in cultivation and be in accord with your True Nature.
Constantly introspect! Righting yourself, and then others will right themselves. Be a role model for pioneering Tao and practice the Five Virtues.
Earnestly practice what you preach! Assist the Tao Community to bring sentient beings back home. Thus, you are able to attain the goal of the Spiritual Guidelines.
