Gratitude for Sharing, Pioneering with Courage
Because we met, we understood that we are on the same team. Because we shared, we are clearer that we need to march forward together. Through the previous day’s reports and professional exchanges from various countries, participants expanded their knowledge and gained new insights on Tao propagation across each country and their challenges; they supported and encouraged each other to keep moving forward and never give up!
Exuding Confidence through Dress
Decked in their national attire’s vibrant colours and unique styles, the forum resembled a mini-United Nations. The participants’ warmth, smiles, confidence, and beauty displayed the harmony of Tao cultivation with local culture. Under the emcee’s lead, everyone readied themselves to commence with the discussion exchange.
Carrying the Torch and Forging Ahead
Dean Zhang Yi Ding, from Fuzhou City, shared his reflections from the forum and Zhu Zi Institute’s education philosophy; that Confucianism, from Confucius through Zhu Xi (Zhu Zi), is relevant and stems from the same cultural lineage. Zhu Zi’s influence on rituals and music is core to Confucianism’s philosophy. Never forgetting our purpose, the strength of a country is manifested through its people’s faith and belief, to continue to carry the torch lit by our predecessors and forge ahead!
National Treasure of the Tao Community: Senior Tao Initiator Han Mercifulness
The closing address was delivered by Senior Tao Initiator Han Mercifulness. At the age of 94, Senior Tao Initiator Han is well-revered by the Tao Community. Following Senior Reverend Elder Han to propagate Tao in Taiwan, Senior Tao Initiator Han witnessed the propagation of Tao from the early days in Taiwan to now, around the world. In his address, Senior Tao Initiator Han emphasised the contents of “Principles of Tao”, stating that I-Kuan Tao is not a typical religious faith and wished for continued success in Tao propagation, and may peace be upon everyone!
Gratitude and Blessings
Chairman of I-Kuan Tao Association, Mr Wang thanked Fa Yi Chong De, Singapore for the organisation of the SEA-10 Forum, Bao Guang Jian De’s support, and more importantly, distinguished guests and representatives from Beijing, Fu Jian, and various Tao Communities around the world. In continuation of the successful research and study over the past three years, to continue expanding on multiple platforms, and wished everyone good health, and prosperity in Tao propagation!
Without Complains and Regrets, The Reason
In his concluding remarks, Senior Tao Initiator Xie Mercifulness shared: Tao is an incredible form of energy that transcends forms, countries, and languages. Why would everyone contribute without complaints and regrets? This is due to the synergy between heaven and people, a manifestation of the holy mission that is embraced by people in various countries, and even more so the Three Great Vows of our Holy Teacher, realising a world of harmony.
Remembering and Following the Footsteps of Our Pioneers
Without our pioneers, there would not be a Tao Community. Without a Tao Community, how would we cultivate and achieve salvation? As the saying “Actions speak louder than Words” goes, the beautiful melody of “Grateful to Pioneers” reminded everyone that gratefulness is not expressed through words but displayed through our actions and outcomes! We must be thankful for Heaven’s grace, not forget our pioneers’ hopes, be inspired and role-model them, and not let their expectations down!
Media Recap of the Event
Moments of the two-day event were shared with the participants through the timely publications on the I-Kuan Tao E-Paper. The E-Paper serves as a repository to document the Bai Yang Tao Community’s momentous history. In tandem with the growth of religion in the Digital Era, leveraging technology as an enabler, such as overwhelming the negatives on the Internet with positive posts and articles, would aid in the spread of Tao propagation!
Support and Recognition by I-Kuan Tao Association
Mementoes and a Certificate of Appreciation were presented to the organisers for their support to I-Kuan Tao Association in the planning and execution of the forum. Everyone displayed not only their capabilities but also their sense of fulfilment and joy in fulfilling their mission! Souvenirs were also presented to participating countries in appreciation for their participation and support in making the first edition of the SEA-10 Forum a success!
Reluctantly, Till We Meet Again
Every opportunity to meet is an accumulation of motivation and energy towards cultivation. Every outcome is the effort, drive, hope, determination, and courage towards Tao propagation. Warmth and love radiate around the world because of Tao. With the final large group photograph, participants treasured the moment and till we meet again!
A Temple in the Sky: The Flair of Yuan-Jue
After the conclusion of the forum, guests were invited to visit Bao Guang Jian De- Singapore, Tian Guo Temple. A solemn and dignified prayers hall wrapped in the ambience of Tao, with the flair of Yuan-Jue warmly welcomed the guests and left them in awe. Through the sharing of their rich history, the guests experienced and felt the commitment, passion and dedication of their Tao Pioneers during their Tao Propagation journey in the early years!
Welcoming the Future in the Post-Pandemic Era
When there is a will, there is a way. Heaven will always show a path to those who are sincere and selfless. Regardless of where we are in the world, Tao disciples vowed to work hard for salvation, to assist our Eighteenth Patriarch in the responsibility and continuity of Tao propagation internationally into towards the future of the post-pandemic era!
