《白陽天使 愿力無限》2024英語成長營心得分享

年度盛會 誠摯邀約
感謝天恩師德、白水聖帝以及不休息菩薩在天聖靈護佑，感恩點傳師慈悲、講師前賢們的厚愛，後學很榮幸能參加2024年10月12、13日，在台灣發一崇德光慧道務中心舉辦的英語成長營。參加英語成長營一直是後學的夢想。這次終於成行，後學非常開心。後學要感謝Susannah林惠淑講師寄給後學的邀請函。後學目前就讀一貫道崇德學院，是第九屆的碩士班研究生。

菩薩關愛 愛才惜才
濟公活佛慈悲說：「修身立品德為貴，允執厥中知火候。」修道人必須勤於修行， 並以建立崇尚品德為最尊貴的重點。修道者的火候體現於時刻守本性，即道的精髓。不休息菩薩住世時，指導成立外語庫，並親自點名林點傳師和彭點傳師負責安排每年舉辦英語成長營。這次是第二十四屆的英語成長營，正所謂「十年磨一劍」，迎接第二十四年，伴隨道務成長，人才更培長，德行更增長。此外，我們每個人手上都有一把劍，擦亮智慧劍，斬掉壞脾氣、壞習慣、執著和心魔。另作新民，進德修業更上層樓。 

請轉法輪 正己成人
活佛師尊慈示：「法輪常轉從自心自念開始。轉動自己的法輪，自身是一個修道人，就是有修道人的標準。..從學習開始，就是要端正。」活佛師尊又言：「你是否可以學到菩薩之精髓？你是否可以代表諸佛菩薩講經說法呢？」依循活佛師尊的教導：

〈請轉法輪〉
請轉自己之法輪，觀止玄黃，轉識為智，真人做主，離迷覺悟，生圓滿智慧。
請轉同修之法輪，敬老尊賢，見賢思齊，教學相長，益友互勉，生千手觀音。
請轉眾生之法輪，慈悲喜捨，善巧方便，平等觀之，見道成道，生妙有之相。
請轉道場之法輪，莊嚴佛所，光彩琉璃，十方諸佛，鐘鼓梵音，生彌勒淨土。

真修者以身示道，正己成人，轉動自己的法輪，轉動同修的法輪，轉動眾生的法輪，轉動道場的法輪。法輪是推動我們前進的力量。在修辦道的旅途中，永遠不要忘記三件重要的事：不忘金線、不忘佛心和不忘愿立。一條金線是上天賦予我們的天命道統真傳，佛心是一顆菩薩慈悲喜捨無私的愛心，愿立是一份堅毅不屈及抱道奉行的信念。

延續道脈 世世代代
彭點傳師慈悲提到六祖惠能祖師在《六祖壇經》中所說的「勿令斷絕」，意思是「將心法流傳後世，不要使它斷絕」！這一句話對後學來說就像是上天的旨令：「務必要延續道脈，傳播大道不停歇，繼續英文班，永不停止！」

當聽到英文班的Thomas Wang王講師、Linda Chang張講師和Vivienne Huang黃講師分享開荒闡道的真實故事時，後學深受感動。點傳師和前賢們在傳道的堅定信念與毅力，令人肅然起敬，難以置信。一路上活佛老師與仙佛的加持與指導，令人震撼與讚歎。這樣有意義的真實故事應該被記錄下來。

神聖團隊 綻放光輝
或許，我們可以把英文班前賢開荒闡道的旅程寫成一本紀錄，建立實錄系統，名為「神聖團隊之傳承」。（The Passage of The Holy Team）每個勇敢的開荒者都分享經驗，此紀錄呈現「行走之活佛」 (Walking Buddhas) 的足跡，一本發一崇德道場之開荒史，外語庫白陽天使的聖跡和寶典。把這本紀錄獻給白水聖帝、不休息菩薩，以及曾經伴隨我們修辦的點傳師、前賢和同修，並紀念那些已成道的點傳師和同修。他們將永遠在我們的心中，因為他們是我們的榜樣，也是心目中永遠的英雄。 

邁向國際 聖業永續
後學要感謝我們的團隊，這次成長營的第三組，和隊友們一起學習、團結、合作，是一份榮耀。我們確實有很多人才，包括一位會說西班牙語的講師。一貫道已經在全世界傳播，包括說西班牙語的國家。也許除了英語之外，下一次我們可以整合並聚集更多雙語或多語人才加入。

不休息菩薩睿智領導，英語進修班的存在，必有其目的及神聖任務。英語班和外語人才庫能夠得到發一崇德各道場及道務中心之共識，認同與護持，對於道場的發展是非常重要的。語文的力量，無可限量。因爲語文能夠打破各國種族的藩籬，了解彼此文化習俗的差異，卸下無形的障礙，促進交流才可以溝通無礙。道場人才需要不斷提升道學涵養，才能與時俱進。整合語文人才，加速並統一道學的翻譯，以方便道務、班務的推動，進而培養人才為道場扎實之棟梁。

宗教領航 人間天堂
濟公活佛的宏愿是移風易俗以臻大同世界。活佛老師亦慈示：「天命在斯，必能領航宗教，卓越全球！」不休息菩薩時代的展望，在於濟世救人，道脈永續傳承，成爲未來世界宗教之典範標杆，白陽修士必先學習聖賢内聖外王之道，提倡以天心建立福慧雙修的人生，並且融入新時代，參與國際交流平臺，注入一股清流，為芸芸眾生創造正面、和平、積極、美好的人間天堂！

後學希望將來能再參加英語成長營。英語成長營是我們的傳統和傳承，也是我們與不休息菩薩之約。祝福英語班神聖團隊，精進更上一層樓，聖凡如意，一切順利。謝謝！

2024 English Camp

Humble Sharing by Lecturer Rachel Wong, Alor Setar Tao Community

By the Grace of the Almighty God (Lao Mu), Virtues of Holy Teachers, Mercy of Bai-Shui Shen-Di and Never-Resting Bodhisattva, Tao Transmitting Masters, Lecturers, Tao brothers and sisters, it is my great honour to attend the English Camp at Fa-Yi Chong-De Guang Hui Global Tao Affairs Centre, Taiwan on 12-13/10/2024.  Thank you for giving me time for sharing.

It has been my dream to attend English Camp.  I am very excited and happy that I finally made it this time.  I wish to thank Lecturer Susannah Lin for sending me the invitation.  I am now studying at I-Kuan Tao Chong-De School as the Ninth master’s class graduate student.

Holy Teacher Ji-Gong Living Buddha’s merciful message said, “Tao cultivators must be diligent in their Tao cultivation.  Building good virtues is the most precious priority.  The level of endurance of a Tao cultivator is demonstrated through sustained devotion in embracing Oneness, the essence of Tao.”  This year is the 24th year since Never-Resting Bodhisattva instructed to set up Foreign Language Talents Group and advised Master Lin and Master Peng to organized English Camp annually.  In line with this 24th year, just as the saying goes “Ten Years of Sharpening a Sword”, we should keep on polishing our sword, the Third Sword of English Tao Class.  Also, each of us has one sword in hand.  We should do the same too.  This sword is a called the Sword of Wisdom which cut away our bad temper, bad habits, attachments and “inner demons”.  We need to continue our Tao cultivation and propagation in order to achieve a higher level of advancement.  

A merciful message from Ji-Gong Living Buddha said: "The constant rotation of the Dharma Wheel starts from self-reflection of one's own mind.  If you turn your own Dharma Wheel, you are a Tao cultivator, which means you have the standards of a Tao cultivator. ... Start from learning of Tao, you must have right characters."  Living Buddha also said: "Can you learn the essence of Bodhisattvas?  Can you preach on behalf of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas?"  Following the teachings of the Living Buddha Ji-Gong:

"Please Turn the Wheels of Dharma"
Please turn your own Dharma Wheel, uphold your Buddha nature, and turn your consciousness into wisdom.
Let your true self be the real owner. Free yourself from delusion, reach enlightenment, and revive your wisdom to perfection.
Please turn the Dharma Wheel of fellow practitioners. Respect the elderly and the virtuous and emulate the virtuous as you see them.
Teaching complements learning.  Good friends encourage one another, reach out like Guan-Yin Bodhisattva of a Thousand Hands.
Please turn the Dharma Wheel of all sentient beings.  Be loving, compassionate, joyful, and equanimous.  Show ingenuity and provide convenience to others.
Be fair and see the truths beyond appearances.  Help others engage in Tao, manifesting the profound virtues of wondrous action.
Please turn the Dharma Wheel of the Tao Community.  Dignify the Holy Temple, shinning like the brilliant and colourful crystal glass.
Buddhas from all directions, with the sacred sound of holy bells and drums, create the Pure Land of Maitreya. ​

A Tao cultivator practices Tao and set himself as a role model, rectifies himself and help others to cultivate and achieve enlightenment, and hence, turns his own Dharma Wheel, the Dharma Wheel of his fellow Tao practitioners, the Dharma Wheel of all sentient beings, and the Dharma Wheel of the Tao Community.  In the journey of Tao cultivation, never forget three important things: The Golden Thread (of Tao Lineage), A Heart of Buddha, and Holy Vows.”  The Dharma wheel is the power that drives us forward.  The Golden Thread is the True Transmission of the Heavenly Decree and Tao Lineage given to us by Heaven, the Heart of a Buddha resembles a selfless heart of a Bodhisattva with loving-kindness, compassion, empathetic joy and equanimity while Holy Vows stand for the spirit and conviction of perseverance and dedication to the Holy Path.

Master Peng mentioned about the dharma of the Sixth Patriarch Hui-Neng in the Platform Sutra, “Do not let it be cut off!”, which means “Pass on the Dharma to future generations and do not let it be cut off”!  This message appears like a Heavenly Order to me, “We must continue the Tao Lineage.  Never stop Tao propagation.  Never stop English Tao Classes!”

I was touched when listening to the sharing of true stories of Tao propagation from Lecturer Thomas Wang, Lecturer Linda Chang and Lecturer Vivienne Huang.  The strong faith and perseverance of Tao seniors who devoted themselves in Tao propagation aboard were respectful and incredible.  The blessings and guidance of Holy Teacher and Buddhas along the journey were amazing and remarkable.  Such meaningful true stories should be recorded.

Perhaps we could write a record of the pioneering journeys of Tao Propagation of our English Class Tao Seniors, set up a chronical record for the Real Stories, called “The Passage of The Holy Team”.  This is a record of each courageous pioneer sharing his or her experience.  This record presents the footsteps of the Walking Buddhas, a history of the pioneering work of Fa-Yi Chong-De Tao Community, and the relics and treasures of the Bai-Yang Angels of the Foreign Language Talents Group.  We shall dedicate this record to Bai-Shui Sheng-Di and Never-Resting Bodhisattva, the Tao Transmitting Masters, Tao Seniors and fellow practitioners who have accompanied us along the journey of Tao cultivation and propagation, and to the memory of those who have passed away or returned to Heaven.  They will always be in our mind and hearts because they are our role models and our eternal heroes. 

I would like to thank our team, the third group of this camp.  It is an honour to have such a great destiny and opportunity to learn, unite and cooperate with my teammates.  We do have a lot of talents, including a Spanish-speaking lecturer.  I-Kuan Tao has been propagated all over the world, including Spanish-speaking countries.  May be next time we can integrate and gather more bilingual or multilingual people to join us, in addition to English.

Under the wise guidance of Never-Rest Bodhisattva, the existence of English Tao classes must have its purpose and sacred mission.  It is very important for the development of the Tao Community that English Tao Classes and Foreign Language Talents Group can obtain the consensus, recognition and support of Fa-Yi Chong-De Tao Community and Tao Affairs Centres.  The power of language is limitless. Because language can break down the racial barriers between different countries, understanding the variations in each other's cultures and customs can remove invisible walls and promote exchange of practices so that communication can be smooth.  The talents of Tao Community need to continuously improve their cultivation and Tao knowledge in order to keep pace with the times.  Integrating language talents, accelerating and unifying or standardizing the translation of Tao studies, so as to facilitate the promotion of Tao Affairs and Class Affairs, and hence build up talents to become solid pillars in the Tao Community.

Living Buddha Ji-Gong's great mission is to change the customs and traditions of the people in order to achieve a World of Great Harmony.  Living Buddha also said, “With the auspicious Heavenly Decree of Tao Lineage, it is our destiny to lead the world in religious excellence!”  The vision of the Era of Never-Resting Bodhisattva is to continue saving the world and people, and to perpetuate the True Inheritance of Tao Lineage.  In order to become a model for future world religions, Tao cultivators of Bai-Yang must first practise the teachings of Saints and Sages, advocating the establishment of a life of blessing and wisdom with a heavenly heart，integrate into the new era and advanced society and participate in international exchange platforms, like a flowing clear stream which bring and create a positive, active, peaceful, and beautiful paradise for all living beings on the Earth!

I am looking forward to joining the English Camp again in the future.  The English Camp is our tradition, a legacy and an appointment made with Never-Resting Bodhisattva.  All the best to the English Tao Classes, the Holy Team, for further advancement and meaningful life in Tao cultivation and propagation.  God bless.  Thank you!
